Protectt.ai Takes Majority Stake in AIShield, the AI Security Platform Incubated at Bosch

Protectt.ai has taken a majority stake in AIShield, the AI security platform incubated within Bosch Global Software Technologies. The deal, announced from Dubai on 27 October 2026, turns AIShield into an independent company called AI Shield Private Limited under Protectt.ai.

Protectt.ai invested through a primary issuance of shares and a secondary purchase from existing investors. The new capital will fund AIShield’s research and development, its global scale-up and the development of sovereign AI security capabilities.

What AIShield brings

AIShield’s platform covers AI security from development through production. It combines AI security assessment and red teaming with runtime protection and safety guardrails, and it addresses AI-specific risks such as prompt injection and vulnerabilities in AI applications.

The company has more than 40 patent filings, including 11 granted patent families. It serves customers across Europe and the Middle East.

Why Protectt.ai is buying in

The deal pairs AIShield’s AI security platform with Protectt.ai’s mobile application security business and its customer relationships across regulated industries. Protectt.ai plans to use those relationships, particularly across regulated sectors, including BFSI, to expand AIShield’s reach across Asian markets.

As AI moves deeper into critical business processes, enterprises in regulated sectors are putting more emphasis on the security, governance and control of their AI environments. The partnership is designed to meet that requirement by combining AIShield’s AI security capabilities with Protectt.ai’s established mobile application security platform.

AIShield brings a proven platform, a strong engineering team and a deep patent portfolio. A bet on sovereign AI security

Enterprises are increasingly looking for greater control over where their AI systems, data and workloads reside and how they are governed. The partnership will support the development and adoption of sovereign AI security, giving organisations stronger control over their AI environments as security and regulatory requirements evolve.

The deal also drew a positive reaction from Bessemer Venture Partners, which backs Protectt.ai.
