About Us

About Qojo Media

Qojo Media is an independent business and technology publication covering the companies, people, capital and ideas shaping the Middle East.

Our Mission

The Middle East is going through one of the most ambitious business transformations in the world. New companies are being built, global capital is flowing in, and technology is reshaping every industry from finance to logistics.

Our mission is to document this transformation with journalism that is accurate, independent and genuinely useful. We cover the founders building the region's next companies, the executives running its largest institutions, the investors backing new ideas, and the policies shaping where capital goes next.

Our Vision

We want Qojo Media to become the most trusted business publication in the Middle East. The place founders read before they raise, executives read before they decide, and anyone curious about the region's economy reads to understand what is really happening.

Trust is earned story by story. We aim to earn it by getting the facts right, explaining what they mean, and never confusing our readers' interests with anyone else's.

Editorial Guidelines

Every story on Qojo Media is produced by experienced writers and editors who know the region's business landscape. Nothing goes live as a first draft: each piece is researched, drafted, and edited before it is published.

  • Researched, drafted, edited. Our writers research every story before writing it, and an editor reviews each draft for accuracy, clarity, and fairness before publication.
  • Sources, always linked. We link to the sources behind our reporting so readers can check the facts for themselves.
  • Our own research, clearly marked. When a story is based on our own research or analysis, we say so clearly in the story itself.
  • Official sources first. We rely on official press releases, media statements, government publications, and company announcements, and we always state where the information comes from.
  • Accuracy first. We check facts before we publish, and we correct errors openly when we make them.
  • Independence. Our editorial decisions are made by our newsroom, not by advertisers, sponsors or subjects of our coverage.
  • Fairness. People and companies we write about get a fair chance to respond before publication.

Corrections Policy

We work hard to get every fact right. When we make a mistake, we fix it openly.

  • Corrected in the story. Errors are corrected directly in the story, and a short note at the end explains what changed.
  • Updates are part of the story. As developing stories evolve, we update them with the latest confirmed information rather than publishing a separate account.
  • Readers can flag errors. If you spot something wrong in one of our stories, write to us at editorial@qojomedia.ae. We review every report and correct genuine errors promptly.

Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy

Qojo Media works with brands on advertising and sponsored content. That commercial work is kept separate from our journalism, and the rules are simple.

  • Always labelled. Sponsored content published on Qojo Media is clearly marked as sponsored, so readers always know what they are reading.
  • No effect on editorial coverage. Sponsored content does not affect our news coverage in any way. What we cover, and how we cover it, is decided by our newsroom alone.
  • What the charges cover. Fees for sponsored content pay only for the effort our team puts in: researching the topic, preparing and editing the draft, and publishing it to our standards. They also include promotion benefits, such as placement on the website and promotion across our social media channels.
  • Paid content buys no influence. Payment does not buy positive coverage, favourable treatment, or better placement in our news reporting.
  • We never trade on facts. We never change the facts of a story for a sponsor, and we never remove or soften editorial coverage because a company advertises with us.

Our Team

Qojo Media is built by a small team that cares deeply about business journalism in the region.
