RentPost Reports Growing Adoption as US Property Managers Consolidate on One Platform
Property managers are moving leasing, accounting, maintenance and tenant communication onto a single platform, and RentPost says adoption of its software continues to grow.
RentPost, a cloud-based property management software company, has reported continued adoption of its platform as property managers across the United States increasingly look for one central tool to run their businesses. Rather than juggling several systems, managers are bringing leasing, accounting, maintenance and tenant communication together in one place.
RentPost has provided software for landlords and property management companies since 2009. As portfolios grow and day-to-day operations become more complex, managers are turning to centralised software to streamline administrative work and improve reporting.
One platform instead of several systems
Property managers often rely on multiple systems to handle rent collection, maintenance requests, leasing, accounting and communication. RentPost brings these functions into a single platform, helping teams reduce manual processes and improve operational visibility.
The platform includes online rent collection, tenant and owner portals, maintenance tracking, document storage, messaging tools, work order management and financial reporting. Managers can securely store leases, invoices, inspection reports and related documents, while owners and tenants can access the information relevant to them through dedicated portals.
That matters because the work of a property manager rarely sits in one place. A rent payment, a maintenance request, a lease renewal and an owner question can all arrive on the same day, and each one usually lives in a different system. When those jobs sit in one platform, teams spend less time switching between tools and chasing updates, and more time on the properties and people they manage.
Documents stay in the same place as well. Leases, invoices and inspection reports can be stored securely in the platform, instead of sitting in email threads or shared folders. Owners and tenants reach what is relevant to them through their own portals, so a manager does not need to send the same document twice or answer the same question about where a lease or a statement can be found.
Less manual work, clearer reporting
At the centre of the platform is trust accounting. RentPost provides owner trust balances, double-entry accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable, owner contributions and distributions, custom charts of accounts and property-level financial reporting.
The system also automates routine accounting tasks. These include recurring rent charges, automatic late fees, owner statement generation, aged receivables tracking and custom tenant charges such as utilities or maintenance fees. For managers who report to owners every month, that automation removes a large share of the repetitive work.
“As operational complexity continues to grow for property managers, software that improves efficiency and financial visibility becomes increasingly important. We remain focused on delivering tools that simplify daily workflows and support property managers as they scale,”

Rent collection, screening and maintenance in the same place
Rent collection runs through the same platform. RentPost offers ACH and credit card payment processing through Payshift, and tenants can enrol in AutoPay for recurring rent. Managers can monitor payment status, track deposits and receive notifications on failed transactions. Payment processing is PCI DSS compliant, with bank-level encryption.
Leasing is covered too. Tenant screening runs through a TransUnion integration, with credit, criminal, identity and eviction reports available during the leasing process. Maintenance requests and work orders are tracked in the same system, so a request raised by a tenant, the vendor assigned to fix it and the expense attached to it all stay connected to the property.
For small and mid-size property managers, that combination is the point. A single portfolio can involve dozens of owners, hundreds of tenants and a constant flow of payments, repairs and messages. Bringing those threads together in one place gives managers a clearer picture of each property, each owner and each tenant, without building that picture from separate tools.
Support for teams as they grow
RentPost provides onboarding assistance, data migration support and training sessions for new users, along with live chat, phone support and self-service resources. The aim is to help teams move their existing records across and start working in the new system without a long disruption to their daily operations.
Pricing starts at $29 per month plus $1 per unit, with no long-term contracts and a 30-day free trial. The company says that pricing is designed for landlords and property management companies of different sizes, from small portfolios to larger operations.
The growing adoption RentPost reports reflects a wider shift in the industry. As property management becomes more complex, managers are choosing software that covers more of the job in one place, rather than adding another separate tool for each new task.
