D-BELL Brings Together More Than 100 Artists for IRIS, a Musical Universe

What if an album was more than a collection of songs. What if its music, its characters, its artwork and its ideas all told one connected story.

That question is at the heart of IRIS, a project being built in Dubai by Ukrainian producer and composer D-BELL.

D-BELL has been based in Dubai for the past 10 years. IRIS is his most ambitious work yet, a comic-based music project that brings together more than 100 artists from different backgrounds and musical directions into one interconnected story.

The project extends beyond the traditional album format. Music sits alongside comic art, storytelling and philosophical themes, with each element contributing to a larger narrative rather than standing alone.

One vision, more than 100 artists

At the centre of IRIS is D-BELL himself, and he is independently leading the entire project. His responsibilities span creative direction and design, composition, arrangement, music production, recording, mixing, mastering and the coordination of the wider collaboration.

Each participating artist brings their own creative identity, experience and perspective to the work. The project is guided by a shared artistic vision, to bring those individual contributions together into one cohesive whole.

Dubai has shaped that ambition in a practical way. The city’s international and multicultural environment has connected D-BELL with people from a wide range of cultural and artistic backgrounds over the past decade, and that diversity is reflected in both the collaboration and the project itself.

Release plans for December 2026 to January 2027

D-BELL is aiming to complete the IRIS album in late December 2026. He is also exploring the possibility of marking its release with a special event in Dubai, potentially in December 2026 or January 2027.

The release date, venue and format of any accompanying event have not yet been confirmed. Further announcements on the album, the participating artists and any launch plans will be shared as details are finalised.

IRIS is, at its core, a test of whether scale and coherence can live together. More than 100 voices, one story, told through music, comics and ideas, with a single producer holding the thread from the first concept to the final master.
